This document contains information about Frisco and Cobblestone Snow removal and parking policies.
All vehicles must be registered with the association secretary. Owner information sheets and renter information sheets are available from the association secretary (secretary@cobblestonefrisco.com).
On days when plowing of the Cobblestone parking areas is likely, all vehicles must be moved elsewhere (for the day) by 10 AM. Vehicles must not be left in the public "on the street" parking between midnight and 6 AM.
Frisco will generally plow public parking areas between 12 midnight and 6 AM. All cars should be removed from public parking areas before this period begins.
Our snow plowing is done by Colorado Property Maintenance on an "as needed" basis. In general when there is more than two inches of snow on the ground by 10 AM, snow will be plowed. When there have been several days of snow less than two inches, there will be plowing to minimize the build up of packed snow which can turn to ice. Plowing will generally be done after 10 AM.
All vehicles (e.g. new vehicles with temporary tags, guest vehicles, owner's vehicles, renter's vehicles) must be registered with the association secretary. Owner information sheets and renter information sheets are available from the association secretary (secretary@cobblestonefrisco.com). Unregistered vehicles parked in the lot are considered a parking violation (see below).
Parking spaces are allocated on a per unit basis. There are two spaces allocated per unit. One is in inside the garage associated with the unit and another is in front of the garage. This means that parking two cars, one behind the other in front of a garage, is prohibited. The spaces in front of the entrances are for guest and delivery parking; they may also be used temporarily for loading and unloading of personal vehicles. Vehicles in these spaces longer than 48 hours are subject to towing at the vehicle owner's expense.
There is no parking along the edge of the 8-plex parking area that is on the side nearest Granite Street. The reason for this is that the front lawn is our primary snow storage area and this area must be clear to allow snow removal. Another reason is that cars parked in this area occasionally suffer damage from other cars backing into them. A No Parking Any Time sign has been installed in this area.
On days when plowing is likely to be done, all cars must be removed from the parking area by 10 AM. Cars left in garages are fine. NOTE: Cars must remain out of the lot until the plowing is done. If the plowing has not been done by 5 PM, vehicles may be returned to the lot for the night.
Unit owners will be fined for parking violations associated with their unit according to the following schedule: first occurance - warning, second - $50, subsequent - $100. In addition, vehicles in violation of these rules will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense.
